  1. Their is a to be a memorial concert to the memory of Eb bass player Roy Bennett, who aged 83 sadly died last December. Roy was a member of Burnage band for many years, and the last band he played for was Reddish Band.

The concert is a joint effort between Reddish Safestore band, Stockport Silver band, and Elmfield Band a couple of the bands that Roy helped out. It will be held at St Elizabeths Church Reddish, Stockport on Saturday 31st March 2012. It will be £5 per person, pay on the door. All proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Please come along, and support the event, even if you didnt know Roy.

    Colin Bardsley
    Reddish Safestore band, Chairman.
  2. The concert on March 31st will also include a dedication to John Sellers, who sadly died in February. John was one of the people key to reforming Reddish Prize band back in 1991.
  3. Just a reminder that this concert is tonight, please come along and support the concert as all proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army, and we all know what a great job they do in these times of poverty and hardship.

    Hi Colin

Thank you so much for allowing me to play and dedicate the Euph Solo "Benedictus" to Roy ( was a real good old friend of mine). Proved to be a great night. You did a great job in organizing the night - Well Done. Steve Heywood
