Marshfield band is to present a prestigious wartime concert organised by the Friends of Coaley Church. This popular annual event takes place on Saturday 12 November and will feature many wartime classics, as well as the cornet solo, Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child played by Neil Allen, principal cornet of both Marshfield and the City of Bristol Band. In the past, this concert has been undertaken by many different bands but has this year passed to Marshfield, which will be maintaining the high standards of previous years.
The concert will take place in Coaley Village hall at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £10 but are almost sold out.

Following this concert the band is attending the Gloucester Brass Band Association (GBBA) contest on 20 November in Coleford.
