Argh the old marshall cab! should mention whether slop fornt or bottom square cab.
in the seventies everyone you went to buy form a shop was alleged ex Hendix. he got through some cabs then as well as guitars?
good luck selling it ive moved on to Ampeg SVT now
Yeah this is the 1960A which is angled, unlike the 1960B which is not angled.
At that vintage possibly still valved, so could be problems with some other components in the high voltage stuff, capacitors and the like, I would think.
1960 is the model number (IIRC), not the year of manufacture, and this a loudspeaker cabinet only. The best guitar amps are still using valves (IMHO). I always used Orange gear when I was playing regularly, before changing to a Music Man set-up. Son uses Marshall, got his amp 2 years ago (brand new) and yes....it's a valve one
This is not a vintage cab, it is only about a year old. I bought it from PMT birmingham :-
It is as new, great sound even with a cheaper head.
....and yes it is only the speaker cabinet, so nothing to do with valves or other components etc
Great sound output especially when coupled with a Marshall JCM800 head (which of course has valves).
I just recently had my son's repaired so yes you can still get the valves.
Separate names with a comma.
