Further to my exciting time back in June, I've now invested in a new runaround. Well I say runaround, but I had to take what I could get, badgers not being made of money.
1.8L diesel turbo ford escort, tinted windows, spoiler, 17" alloys, no power steering. Will have shoulders like Mike Tyson before I get rid of it.
Must get some fluffy dice and a pink furry steering wheel cover and I shall be sorted.

Sounds like a Boy Racer mobile to me! Still, marginally better than a Daewoo, I suppose. ;)

Neither have I on my old rover, handy for building the muscles for marching though. On a side note, I thought it was hillarious that my stick insect of a daughter was one of the best in her year for shot put, from playing an imperial cornet.

Yes, a lack of power steering is always fun...I've just saved up enough for a new car, and power steering and central locking are key parts to my specification! Although I do love my current car, even if it doesn't have power steering and central locking, so it may be a while before the right car comes along to replace it...:)

My little car doesn't have power steering either, but it's only temporary until I get a new job with a company car again!

Is this a new game? I think Bagpuss came up with this first...
Am loving the new car. Looks like a fish, moves like a fish, steers like a cow.
Am driving very safely these days. Grandad Badger is not happy with his firstborn having a boy racer mobile, but then he taught me all I know so has only himself to blame.
