I'm looking for some info on a trumpet.

It's a boosey and hawkes imperial trumpet 23 mark 6. From the serial number it's circa 1914 in laquer.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any details on them, are there many left around, how much are they worth in good condition.

It's pretty banged up and would like to know if it's worth getting a complete overhaul on it.

Thanks in advance for any info. :)

If it says Boosey & Hawkes, it is not 1914
At that time they were two different companies - Boosey & Co, and Hawkes & Son

Pictures are always useful when determining a price.

Don't know much about them - does it play well?

Boosey and Hawkes came into existance in 1935. I have an origional 1st edition Catalouge from that time. interesting read, specialy the prices.
