I'm looking for an album (or 2/3  ) of music that contains old style solos, can be with/without piano. accompaniment (will probably never play them with!), I'm looking for things like Tucker, and Heavenly Gales, etc.

Does anyone know where I can find them and how much?

    Cheers
    Ben

If you contact SP&S they can probably supply you with authorised photocopies of what you want of the old SA solos.

  5. Yes , now they've finished with my big sheet music order :) (apart from one hopefully in the post soon).

I think you'll probably manage to get them on the new A4 so they probably wont have the SA top bit and number. But just in case you need them , as I have a band index

    Tucker FS 84
    Heavenly Gales FS 168

Don't know what style Tucker or Heavenly Gales are but if you want traditional Rimmer-style air and variations then there's always the Soloist's Companion series 1, 2 and 3 published by Wright and Round. No Piano parts, 16 or so solos in each album, £5.95 each at http://www.justmusicuk.com. When you get bored of Arban then these are great for having a raz through.
