Just wondered if anyone would think my composition, Light Travelling would be good for you Brass Band folk.

Could this Orchestral composition find it's way into the Brass Band idiom.

If you think so or not, why not air ur views!!

Don't worry about the technicalities or the instrumentation problem solving, I just want to know if you would like to play the piece for Brass Band.

It is minamlist music, so there are a lot of repeated phrases. The whole thing revolves around two chords, the Tonic and the Dominant (D maj7, A9) Other chords are dispersed at my own discression. The whole piece has a driving quaver feel throughout!

    Er, no!

    Surprisingly, No!

A masterly understatement! But then, what else would we expect?

BTW, the delay between first reading this thread and replying to it is purely down to the fact that James forgot to mention that this is a 7mb download.

Unfortuntely, this is the drawback with this download. I used to use low-quality mp3 in mono, but with the increasing world of broadband I have up'd this to 192kbs 44.1kHz stereo.

For those on 56k, I'm sorry.
