I've been told of a Soprano solo that has melodies from Les Miserable featuring the tune "Bring Him Home" but i don't know what it's called.

Has anybody got any ideas or even if it's been recorded before?

Surprisingly it's called Bring Him Home ;) and there's a sop solo arranged by Keith Wilkinson and used to be publised by Studio.

Sorry didn't intend to (although it was an easy target;) ) .

Not sure about recordings though - perhaps one of the resident BOCs will know if it has.

A bit off topic but the thread title brought a wee smile to my face. We have a guy in the office here called Les and thats his nickname because he's always a big grump whenever you need to ask him something.

The CD "A new Beginning" by Hoover Band (Bolton) has an arrangement, but not sure if available in print.

Bring Him Home, Schonberg/Boublil arr Wormald, 3.40
Soprano Cornet Soloist - Chris Seddon

Not sure if the Wilkinson arrangemenet has been recorded but there is an MP3 sound bite on Just Music website:

William Davis band (remember them?) recorded it on "the spice of life" cd. Dai Roberts playing the sop solo.
