For the finals this year we are stopping in Leeds City Centre. There is a big possibility that 30 hungry brass players are going to want a curry and a few(!) lagers on the Friday Evening as we're getting there quite late in the evening.

Anyone recommend a good curry house in the City Centre - preferably within walking distance of the Hilton (although I'm sure our bus driver could oblige :))

I'm a wealth of knowledge on take-aways in Leeds....Punjabs, Lucky's, fortune cookies.....not very knowledgeable about curry though as as not a fan.
I seem to remember the hilton being very nice though!

Tripti (think that's how it is spelt!) on the side street dead opposite the Grand Theatre on Upper Briggate. Very small, but very nice.

It's got to be the Darbar on Kirkgate (in the city centre near the Corn Exchange/Market).

Quality curries (some excellent specialities) and caters for bigger groups with long banqueting tables. Open till midnight Mon - Sat too.
