    Hi all,
I'm planning a weeks Holiday in las Vegas for next Summer with a few mates and just wondered what people that have been before did while they were over there?
Any suggestions of places to go, things to see? Any must see/do things?
I'm a bit a gambler, so i'll be in the casinos a fair bit and i suppose i'll have to get very drunk on a few occasions. What are the best bars? Also, are there any places to avoid?

For when you want to get away from the incessant noise of the fruit machines (which start when you get boff the plane until you get back on again!), tjhe Hoover Dam is an interesting trip - I did a hard hat tour inside it which was interesting. (Not sure if they still do that post 9/11).
Cirque du Soleil - The Beatles based "Love" was on - not seen that particular one but the music is fab!
And don't forgte to get to old Vegas - the light show on the roof of Freemont Street is cool too.

There are lots of free things to see on the strip......the twice nightly pirate battle outside treasure island...the errupting volcano.

Good theatre shows....check who is on at Ceasars palace!

If you are playing the 'slots' in a casino the drinks are free..just tip the waitress a dollar a drink!

as mentioned 'Circque' or the Blue man group.....

you can Golf....championship course at the back of the Wynn dealership in the foyer

if you are ging at the height of the summer it will be approx 140 degrees during the day and 90 at night.....Vegas comes alive after depending on your group sleep during the day and party at night....remember the motto

'What happens in Vegas....STAYS in Vegas!!'
