Take a look at Dalmellington Band's website. Guestbook & Forum. Land O' Burns 2009. The list is there.

Sorry I couldn't make it down to Troon, Diane! Good contest? Any interesting arrangements this year?

It was a good day. We got lots of good feedback from the bands who seemed to enjoy the day.

Can't comment on the music I'm afraid as I was stuck in the kitchen all day feeding the masses and never heard a band!

A fantastic result for Johnstone splitting the top three. Well done Raymondo and the rest of the crew!

... any idea what your old band, Johnstone, played?

I can't remember the names of the pieces Johnstone played, sadly, but it was certainly entertaining! Thoroughly deserved 3rd, and the percussion prize.

Just like to say well played to our solo horn who won best horn today... yayness! Played beautifully.

Ray Tennant's always had the knack of choosing good programmes over the years. Interesting to see a spread of individual awards, so well done to all.
