Thanks for your support!! Just got home and am absolutely shattered. We played really well, and are glad we're not going to Harrogate, but we're happy that we're staying up.....

    3rd in the Table! ;)

A very happy hbb! :D *slightly boozy too!*

BIG UP THE STAINES MASSIVE! ..... ahem

After being sat at home with the 'impatient' brood, after learning Staines drew 17th in the draw, and after several 'miffed' phone calls with Maestro - my man has finally returned triumphant!!!

This has been the first area's I have missed since I met Kev and after hearing the recording of today's performance, I am more than a little peeved that I wasn't there. :(

An excellent and well deserved result to Staines - BRING ON HARROGATE!

Congrats MRSH (I think it was Clacton you were playing for), and rest assured HBB didn't have a drop all night! (slightly boozy my a**) :D

Congratulations to Staines - but also congratulations to my 'home' band, Wantage on their best ever result at the areas! There are some good bands listed lower than 8th in the 1st section. All that hard work with Mike Pegram seems to be paying off...

Yes t'was Clacton. We played a blinder and came third and from what the announcer said before the contest the first 3 are going to Harrogate. Whoopeee. If that's right it'll be my first finals for, oh, more years than I can remember. Well done Clacton. And congrats to Staines and Northfleet as well. See you in sunny Yorkshire.

Good to meet you too and HBB (who did look very very sober     )

I must also say a tremendous well done on 4th place to Crystal Palace (the band) whom my wife (Aardvark) plays for and also to Becontree's 1st place who our two closest banding friends plays for. We'll all be in Harrogate. Hooray.

Well done to Chris Cole and YWD on 3rd place as well.

    Great weekend all round.

PS Oh! and Crystal Palace (the football team) beat top-of-the-table Norwich. Icing on the cake. Come on you Eagles. :D  :D

Edited: 'Cos I couldn't spell Aardvark
