Only two more rehearsals to go.

Some bright spark in my band decided that a rehearsal at 8.30 on Sunday morning was a great idea

It's not the fact we have yet another one, but how ******* early it is. If we draw number one, we'll be packing away just after we start. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :hammer

May I, in time honoured fashion, wish all the bands going to Stevenage the very best of luck. May your pianissimos be polished, your fortissimos be fearsome and your remarks be truly remarkable.

Good luck, folks, and enjoy the weekend :guiness

We just arrived from Jersey tonight at about 11pm, Damn pubs all shut at 12 apart from those over the bridge. Apparently Spoons is shutting at 12 tommorow !!!!!!
On behalf of all the Jersey lads and lasses we would just like to wish all the bands competing over the next couple of days all the best and hope that you all have a great weekend.

Just got home from Stevenage. Had a good day out with a great bunch of people. Didn't get the result we expected, but the man in the middle has spoke. So be it. Congratulations to Fulham and Betteshanger for their well-deserved placings.

Good luck to the other Norfolk bands playing over the weekend. Yes, I include Ipswich and Norwich Coop in that, not only 'cos they're friends of ours but they're half Norfolk ;)

Thank you, Mr Broadbent, for a full and interesting remarks sheet. We can identify with some, if not all, of the comments and will be working on issues raised. A big 'Well done' to our sop, Karen, who was picked out for special mention.

We'll be working to improve for next year and if there are any players out there want to join our happy band to help us on our way, we'd be pleased to see you.

Is anyone able to clarify the rule on the number bands qualifying from the fourth section?

    The rules state
    1 - 16 bands entered - 2 bands qualify.
    17 - 24 bands entered - 3 bands qualify.

17 bands entered the competition but only 16 performed. Has Amersham Band been denied a place at the finals due to Newmarket withdrawing or do they still get to go?
