Knottingley Silver Band looks forward

    The Knottingley Band have had a busy time of late rebuilding the band! The band are now looking to build on this fantastic base, looking forward to an exciting future. Ms Clare Spragg is the bands new secretary, if you would like to contact Clare to find out about the band, a vacancy or the bands availability then please contact her at or ring 07933540857 and she will be delighted to discuss your requirements. The band would also like to say a huge thank you to Elizabeth Stimpson for her work for the band in this role for the past six years, Liz has guided the band through a very difficult time and always led with drive and vigour, seeking out opportunities and spending hours of her time working in the background ensuring everything gets done. Enjoy your retirement Liz (She's only 24!).

    The band would also like to welcome a host of new players to the band, so welcome to:

    Graham Hardy (Cornet)
    Chris Lister (Cornet)
    Kathryn Woods (Cornet)
    Briony Argent (Horn)
    Bill Hodgson (Baritone)
    Robert Lovatt (Baritone)
    Richard Midgley (Trombone)
    Patrick Draper (Trombone)

    The band now only need a Rep, 2nd/3rd Cornet and Bass Trombone so if you are interested then please do get in touch with the band, your interest will be kept in the strictest confidence.
