Knightrider or Airwolf ?

Knightrider or Airwolf types ?

  1. Airwolf ( Functional, effective, with large projectiles )

  2. Knightrider (smooth, elegant type)

As TV classics go these two are gems. But which one of these would pull the women ? A sleek black car that talks in an annoying tone "'re back" etc or a heavily armoured helicopter with loads of projectiles!! Its a bit like choosing a partner, one looks good and elegant whilst the other is functional and effective!

Which programme type do you think is the daddy ??

Jan-Michael Vincent - phwoooaar. Although also had Ernest Borgnine, gaaaah...
David Tasseltip - naff, bouffant and slimy. But did like Evil Kitt and Goliath.

Anyone remember the Airwolf Amstrad game? All I ever managed to do was fly into cliffs. Crap game.
    BMB also wallowing in nostalgia

Used to love Airwolf when I was a kid. And the game was rubbish, I came accross some online version a year or so back. Just had a trawl through google but doesn't seem to be around anymore.

Also, why isn't A-Team in the poll? Mr T all the way!!!!!!!!!!

I pity da fool who put me in dat aeroplane!
Why did he never twig? Every single episode he got mickey-finned and sent in a plane. How stupid was he?

it's the unfailing routine of it all that makes it so good BMB

Cry for help from Good guys
Co-incidental showing up of A Team
    (Optional mickey-finning of Mr T)
    Schmoozy schmoozing with the ladies
Big building scene with dodgy music as the plan comes together
Lots of explosions and men/vehicles flying through the air
    Disappearing into the sunset

P.s. why did BA never crash when yanking the steering wheel randomly?
And why does noone ever get shot, given the tons of bullets sprayed randomly every episode?

Face Man! Yeah! Boy did I have a crush on him. Although I think I fancied his 'Vette more than him...

Altogether now: I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER [chomp on cigar, big cheesy grin]

They don't make em like that any more.

Airwolf - just because of the quality speeded up bits of the helicopter with the jet fighter soundtrack overdubbed. You just can't beat it.

Airwolf was way better than Knightrider, though both were nowhere near as great as CHiPs :)

I'm fairly sure it was called KARR. The corrupted vehicle which made you rob banks and hold up security trucks. Used to scare the proverbials out of me.

I saw a re-run on Bravo the other afternoon. Forgot what quality that programme was.

Airwolf was great too- much better than Blue Thunder.

So long as I don't have to be one of the dumb broads who are always the girlfiend of a drug dealer don't know it...
