How many tMP members recieve their internet via ntl:home.............
Yeah I do, not too bad service and price wise although it does go off service now and then
We have ntl broadband (if that is what you mean)
same here! sometimes its crud tho cos it jus randomly goes off grrr
I do, and have done for a few years now, we use broadband through a router to 3 computers. Email can be a bit rubbish at times, especially if you're trying to access it via Webmail, but I've only known the servers to be completely down once in the last year or so.
What does: crud tho cos it jus mean......... I'm new to this game....... it's like a foriegn language to me......
we have ntl broadband. had no probs so far but only had it for bout a month
I believe sellers_bird's response could be punctuated as follows:
"Sometimes it's crud though, 'cause it just randomly goes off. Grrr!"
If e.e. cummings were writing today, nobody would pay him any attention.
we have NTL Broadband, and it does go off a few times, very anoying. It is one of the cheapest though especially if you already get your phone and TV with them.
The ntl man came round today and said that the pavement has to be torn up before we can get it, as they didn't put wires in the ground for our house when they did everyone else on the road. So we'll have ntl broadband in about 2/3 weeks.

Nope - I use NTL but not via the tv.
We use pipex- please no-one mention BT the problems we had with them would take me all night to describe!!! I used to be on ntl home when in notts and it was generally ok although I did have problems getting installed (taking ages and getting messed up) and getting it cancelled. Could probably be summarized as the actual service is ok but the customer support is rubbish!!
Obviously the same problem as we had with Tiscali...
