The current Scottish Champions, the Scottish Co-op Band are hosting a joint concert with the Trusts Waitakere Brass Band from New Zealand, on Friday the 29th September 2006 at 7.30pm in the Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church in Pollokshields, Glasgow

This will be the only Scottish date on the New Zealand Band's European Tour and sees the return to Glasgow of the former Co-op tuba player, Simon Kerwin, as conductor of the Trusts Waitakere Brass.

Scottish Co-op Band led by their conductor Allan Ramsay, will open the concert in the first half with an exciting programme which will also feature the band's soloists, followed in the second half by their Kiwi guests.

Admission is free and following the concert, there will be a social event to which all are invited.

Thanks for hosting us and putting on such a great concert (in a VERY lively church). A reciprocal visit on the cards maybe??
