    Can someone please let me know who wrote the Test Piece Jodrell Bank and do you know if there is a recording of it.

    Yep....not sure if anyone's recorded it though - that's Brassneck territory ;)

    It was used at Pontins in the third section a few years ago. The performances were recorded although I don't have a copy of ours unfortunately. Maybe someone out there does and would be willing to lend it to you.

    Believe it or not, I believe it was used at the Grand Shield at Belle Vue Manchester in the mid 1960's.

    Me? cough ... correct ... I have a recording of it by Brass Band Schoonhoven (Erik Janssen) on their Fabulous Brass album. Not a big fan of Peter Yorke ditties though! (sorry to his loyal fanbase ;) ).
