In view of all the scandal surrounding what seems to be the majority of our members of parliament who would you replace some of them with and why?
I choose Joanna Lumley because she is eloquent, gracious, articulate and appears trustworthy...:)

I second that. If everyone agrees, may we turn this into some kind of petition?

Should have said I vote for all M.P.s to live in especially built flats at Westminster or use the empty service quarters in London so need need of a 2nd home. And of course Walking out Jackets to be worn so we know who they are!

    Yes - I second that :)

All MPs should be housed in a glass box above the River Thames...

I think there are a few skeletons in Ms Lumley's cupboard that would prevent her getting the job. ;)

Skeletons? Enlighten us please! She is a vegan so I suppose that would not be popular with the farming voters and she once dated Rod Stewart which shows poor taste. I still like her though.

Not so sure about Esther though. She will have us all brushing our teeth and in bed by 7:30pm cluthching our enid Blyton secret 5 or famous 7 books.

Just a thought for the Queen. Who do you think she would rather have her weekly tea with? The divine Ms Lumley, Esther or Cliff Richard. Hey lets go for it - Cliff can do the Tories and Tom Jones is Welsh Miner so he can to the one I cannot spell (pleaid cymrui?) and for Labour they could choose the gorgeous actor from Ashes - Philip whatsitsname. Or someone from Eastenders which I don`t watch so can`t choose suitable candidate.

I keep waiting in her closet but she's never there - her butler muttered something about sorting out her Nepals (I think thats what he said)

I can exclusively reveal that the only skeleton found in Ms Lumley's closet was that of the 'Oirish Hide and Seek Champion of 1953!

Vote for Esther Rantzen, she would be very comfortable in the House of Commons with all those odd shaped vegetables!!!
