.......give or take half an hour, since I had my last cigarette!
Are you impressed or what?
Well Done - it's not easy to give up!
Very very very impressed, well done Piers!
Well done indeed! As a non-smoker I find it very hard to understand why this could be difficult but I have seen people try to give up in the past. Six months is a good milestone I think - extremely well done to get so far!
Very impressed! My missus gives up for all of about 2 days and then starts again cos shes stressed!
I stopped last Friday at midnight, it,s hard work but i,m going to make it!!!!!!!:tup
Don't start now!
Well done!!! Smoking's bad for you! Keep it up!
I've done that a few times too. Longest I've managed previously was 3 weeks (When I was 14 ). 15 years later, I tried accupunture and it seems to have done the trick. I can thorougly reccommend it to anyone who's trying to quit.
Nice one mate! I'll go and get a celebratory cigar...
After two and a half years I still get the odd craving every now and then.
Keep up the good work.
My Sentiments as well!
Well I'm impressed, little bro! Wish I could follow suit, but am far too stressed...
And have you kept it up since? Or are you still smoking in the shower............
Thought I'd ressurect this old thread since I'm now an ex-smoker (or a non-smoker ) and have been for just over 4 weeks.
Hows everyone else doing?
I found the best way was just plain old Cold Turkey and chewing gum whilst on holiday. Coming back home was the hardest part and the first few days back at work were sheer hell but it gets easier day by day.
Keep going, Steve. It never goes away completely but it does get easier. I've been stopped nearly 11 months now. How's Timbone and Ju33les getting on, they quit about the same time I think?
Well done you guys. Keep it up.
It'll be 12 months for me in November. Sometimes it's still ****** hard to say no, so I've taken up alcohol instead
