I'm currently trying to get some more grade 7/8 music that doesn't include Variations on a Welsh Theme and the Arban studies so I was wondering if anyone had played any of the pieces from this book and what they thought of them.

    Thanks

Also has anybody used the 'Fantasy Pieces' books by Derek Bourgeois? - they look to be quite good.

I'd recommend It's a Classic - they're all a bit different to anything else I was playing at that standard. There's a cracking arrangement of Czardas that takes a heck of a lot of practice! :tup
