Low pitch, low brow "Music for a larff?" surely that's what the bass trombone is for
Just look at tenor trom solos. There is some lovely stuff out there, but the only one the public wants or remembers is "The Acrobat".
You know, even if these novelty "Funny Ha Ha " Bass and trom Solos are a bit musically demeaning, I suppose that there is a case for if the audience enjoys them as a bit of light relief then bands are justified in including them.

For EEb Bass, why not, just turn the score and parts upside down
Surely then you'd be sending them out?
Might be preferable to sending them up
Separate names with a comma.
