International Brass Band Summer School

    IBBSS 2017 New Member

    IBBSS 2017 promises to be sun, sea and brass in the beautiful surroundings of Gower peninsular near Swansea.

    The delegates are drawn together from more than ten different countries and are guided through the week by Course Director Prof. Nicholas Childs and special Guest Paul Lovatt-Cooper.

    The course is a mixture of musical education with a holiday atmosphere with like minded musicians.

    The IBBSS has fantastic tutors;

    Cornets Richard Marshall, Black Dyke - Tom Hutchinson Cory and Chris Turner formally of Cory.

    The course offers;

    Individual ensuite accommodation, Breakfast and three course evening meal

    Full band rehearsals, Sectional practices, Individual lessons, Conducting classes, Sight Reading sessions

    Quiz night, Brass in Concert IBBSS style! End of course concert with a capacity audience
