I'm wondering in which section the tmp.com members play... We have a Thread "What band do you play for", but I don't know in which sections these bands play.... just wondering...

Not trying to be funny, but the clue is in the topic heading. Otherwise it may have said something like "contesting or non-contesting".

    We're second section.

We have been in the Championship section since Jan 2002 but we do need to get a pretty decent result next year at the Area to keep us up.
I'm sure we can do that though.

Play in 4th section with Dronfield. Got relegated after after my first contest :x Bit unlucky at the time though as our worst result in 3 years was 14th out of 18 but all that stuff with newly promoted bands get an average score to start with came in.

But the comment to the thread was a sort of follow on from what band do you play for.

Not all the TMP members play for contesing bands and therefore I just felt that there should have been a option for other people like myself.

I wave the white stick for Watford Silver Band, used to be Hosier and Dickinson,we did`nt compete last year, not enough players, but we`re on the way back up,looking out for those on the way down.
We might not win anything, but big cheesy smiles after a good rehearsal counts for a lot.

If only Elton would put money into my Band instead of his Football Club

    Come on you golden boys
