    Hi,
Has any trombone player come accross a piece called 'In Memoriam' by Jean-Francois Michel?? Its in the syllabus for the European Solo Competition in Glasgow in May and just wondered what it was like??

    Thanks

No, but I have played "In Memoriam" for trombone quartet by Premru - a superb piece of music in my opinion. Sorry bit off topic.

I'm off the topic as well but isn't 'In memoriam RK' by Elgar Howarth a lovely piece?

Shame I've voted on the test piece poll!

Agree with you whole-heartedly there Paul, and I'm very surprised it isn't programmed more frequently, either at contests or concerts.
