Yay! I'm sorted now. I have a job and I found a band!!!!!! Life is GREAT!!!!!!:biggrin: :bounce:woo:metal::guiness<--- me (although the last one isn't strictly true - I don't like the black stuff)
Job is a IT Helpdesk Agent type thingy (not telling you which company in case it inflates the calls... ) The band is Drogheda Brass Band, and they seem nice enough. I think I'm the only tMPing member so I'll have to work on that a bit .
Band looks fantastic. Sadly the only thing I can remember about Drogheda is that it was the name of the farm in The Thorn Birds... Hope you enjoy it. BMB xx
Wow, all this and a new hair do and a new umbrella! How much more excitement can a gal take?
Hey well done ikkle happy sooperdooperblarnyflugelizer!!!!! Hope they both work out well for you (and yeah...work on the tmp-ing members thing!)
Thank you all very much - not sure about the church thing, Dave, sorry! I'm not living there, just travelling there for band. Sunday rehearsal is in the morning which means I have to actually get out of bed by 9am ... oh well, it's all in the name of flugelisation!
Yep, Sunday morning practises are an Irish thing, as you've probably gathered at this stage! Best of luck up there, haven't seen them in yonks but I'm sure you'll get on great!
Hope your new band appreciates your flugel playing pal. Missing you loads and looking forward to you visiting us soon. I know Neal will look after you and now you have a band fixed you will be fine. Re the job - may be giving you a call on the helpline in March when I eventually get Broadband here in the sticks. Keep in touch.
