tonight... then I suggest you get yourself to Stoke on Trent to the Victoria Hall.
I had the pleasure of a 3 hour drive yesterday through to Bromsgrove to see the NYBB in concert with Bob Childs and David as guest soloist.

 What a wonderful concert! The programme was a mix of brass band classics such as Rhapsody for Brass, juxtaposed against the World Premiere performance of Gareth Woods - A Tear in the Fabric of Time. Section soloists performed admirably, and as was expected, David childs demonstrated his ever present virtuosity playing Horowitz Euphonium Concerto and Harlequin... (i wish i could get my fingers to do that on euph!)

Were there any other tMP'ers there?
All in all a great concert and amazing to see the scale of the band, it looks like the future of British Banding is in safe hands when you see and hear a band of that scope performing.

Highly recommend it if you have a spare sat evening and want a great evenings entertainment!!
