    Given that the ref clearly awards a goal, I guess it was legal then. Whether it is now I don't know. Those of a certain age may well remember Coventry City's famous 'donkey kick' goal against Everton in 1970, scored by Ernie Hunt after a free kick was flicked up by Willie Carr, which led to a change in the law about how far a ball must travel when beng passed at a free kick!
