Was thinking about getting an I Pod for music and stuff off the internet.
Has anyone got one? Just to ask what they are like and if they are any good??

Yup, Jen (my wife) & I have one each. They are totally excellent and I am always using mine. I have a 20GB 3G one, battery life is around 4 to 5 hours, and I have managed to put all my CD's on it with loads of room spare.

    I'd recommend getting one.

You quite obviously don't have enough CDs ;)

Absolutely fantastic machine. I have a 40Gb one and it's stuffed full of my CD collection and lots of books and documents and CD iso files that I use for work. It's not as well publicised as the obvious music files but you can just use it as an external hard drive. I'm planning to upgrade the hard drive to an 80Gb one but it's a bit of a tricky operation and I hear that only certain types of toshiba drive work with it. Go get one, you'll not regret it. Shop around though as prices vary greatly. The best I've seen for a 40Gb was £279, from amazon I think.
