I appreciate the reasons but...

.... the 'blocker' that kicks in when a rude word is posted is shall we say, a little over sensitive?

Amongst the words it automatically 'mods' (asterisks are self posted!)

Rehe*rsed (which would be a commonly used word on a brass band forum, let's face it!)

And this one REALLY made me laugh out loud!

Midd'l*sbo'rough (although it's actually spelt 'Middlesbrough without the extra 'O')

No doubt the Premiership leaders would get 'modded' as would a certain town in North Lincolnshire.....

Can't something be done about this, please?

Just seen that one as well !!

Thankfully , tMP is a site of strict morals and sound virtues , protecting our innocent minds from the filfth and depravity of a godless world !!Only today , my eyes were assailed by some uncovered piano legs and I had to go and lay down as a result.

Just be careful to avert your eyes from any rogue, nude oboe reeds that might be flying about.....

I was going to move to S****horpe but couldn't e-mail the town council as their firewall stop the use of certain four letter words LOL

Luckily I live in E3 London and live near the locks on the canal. Home of The Big Breakfast on channel 4 for a long time.

There are numerous ways of getting round the censorship that has been deemed necessary for this particular forum. The best way is to have a child lock on which chages the word rather than beeps it.

Heres ine I made earlier ****er

And the former Arsenal (now WBA) player Kanu, shouldn't have his first name put on here either.....

I am now trying a little experiment

Let see if the mods can work out what will work having just removed the offending article LOL

That was the North Lincolnshire town I was referring to... ;-)

It's getting silly. I mean... Asterisks, the gall!

    ;-)

But at this rate, all four-letter words will be blocked out (so my username will simply consist of two sets of four asterisks....)

Glad I didn't use my real name or hear or that may have been censored as well LOL

Not to those who feel I shouldn't be seen, heard OR identifiable! :)

My mind is so untainted, that I had to re-read this thread several times before I understood what it was on about. Thankyou tMPers for corrupting an otherwise pure mind. Having said that, I can go on to the fcuk thread as much as I like.

I need a new hobby as trying to ***wit the censors is far too tedious and I haven't had a smoke for nearly two hours reading all these wonderful threads LOL
