The Principal Trumpet player with The Hague Resident Orchestra and Trumpet Professor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, Huug Steketee, has achieved one of his lifelong ambitions with the release of his solo CD, accompanied by a first-class British brass band.

Accompanied by the Hepworth (Persimmon Homes) Band, Huug recorded his album which features him playing his own arrangements and compositions on cornet in July 2005. The resulting CD is a great success for the player who was brought up and trained musically in the world of brass bands in Holland.
The CD, which features some new and exciting music for cornet and some arrangements of popular classics, is being distributed via Kirklees Music priced at £11.95 plus postage and packing. To get hold of your copy ‘phone 01484 722855 or e-mail
