Hi there. My name is Becci Beard. I play flug for Cubbington Silver, a small village south of Birmingham before you ask.
I've been playing for about twenty years but only eight for Cubbington.
I married Kenton, our lead euph in February this year.
When I'm not banding, I work as a teacher.

'Allo Becci.... not seen you & your "Old man" at Exhall for a while.

I still pop-in on odd occasions, when my nerves can stand the musical stress, that is! ;-)

Hi Ian, ditto, we can only cope with it in short bursts.

Is Cubbington the village that was recently badly flooded due to the heavy rain and storms we've been having lately?

Apparantly this is true.Someone asked me tonight. It was pretty bad when I went to band last Friday.I'm just hoping it has all cleared tomorrow when I go.

I saw the tail end of a TV report where Cubbington got a mention, but the pictures were not of anywhere I recognised, just a row of typical suburban houses. Nasty business though, especially with all the tales of not being able to get insurance cover if you are flooded out more than once or twice :-(

You are lucky you got to Band on Friday... on Thursday night I spent an hour without actually leaving Coventry, never got near Dunchurch!
