First game in the Nationwide Conference North today, just got back.

    Worksop Town 0-0 Scarborough

    Att: 610 (300 Scarborough).

Pretty boring game which unfortunately was marred by crowd trouble (Yes, it does happen at this level I'm afraid).

Some typical 'chav' characters attacked the away fans, who did nothing to provoke them.

Disgusting behaviour at out first game in this league.

I hope the 20 other away grounds I visit this season will be more welcoming.

Anyway, how are your teams doing so far?

Our next two games are both at home:

    Tuesday 15th August: Gainsborough Trinity
    Saturday 19th August: Vauxhall Motors

Currently bottom of the league with -9 points, due to the 10 point deficit.

    Wrexham, League 2:

1st game: 1-1 draw away at Wycombe
2nd game: 3-0 home win v Grimsby - the best performance I have seen from us for years.
Today: 0-0 home draw v Peterborough Utd.

Our next match is against arch rivals jester (sorry chester) at their place. Will be riddled with crowd trouble that one.

Not a bad start - still undefeated after playing three of the supposed better teams in the division. Oh and chester got beat today too :)

1st Position, please can we have our ex-manager back????

Colchester United- played 3 lost 3 also.
Manager out of his depth, lost 3 of our best players over the summer, and havent replaced them as the chairman won't open his wallet.
Its going to be a VERY long winter!!! :-(

Huddersfield Town - League 1, 6th so far i believe.

    Gillingham 2- Town 1
    Town 3- Rotherham 0
    Town 2- Bristol City 1

100% home record so far which bodes well for the season, though we still look pretty scrappy and the defence is looking ragged (as it always does). This season all depends on away form, if we can have a a half decent away form we'll be right up there again.

Then theres also the usual mid season blip, which last season cost us promotion, if we can cut that out or at least minimise it we are in with a shout. Least we have plenty of players capable of scoring, just hope the defence shores up a bit.

Well, first game up, and even with 2 ex-Premiership strikers (one a former winner) up front we still loose to a bunch of part-timers!
    Kidderminster Harriers 1 - 3 St Albans

    The shame!

On current form, I'm sure we can come to some arrangement - though by all accounts it was the linesmans fault for the last loss.

Our rugby team changed manager, and they have won 15 out of the last 16 games. They also play at the KC Stadium - why hasn't some of the luck rubbed off onto the foootball team? :-?

So far so good 1 defeat and 2 wins!

I was very negative before the start of the season but following the 2 home wins over Preston & Luton its been a delight to watch Norwich City again.

Only brought in the one player during the summer Lee Croft from Man City and at £600k he looks a bargain.

What makes this season so much more enjoyable thus far is who is bottom of the division!!

Just watched highlights of match against Liverpool. Shocking penalty decision denied us a win. Watford had a couple that were even worse against Everton. Who says the big clubs get the benefit of the ref's decisions?

Chelsea 3-0 (I think both Cech and Terry are on my Fantasy team so that is a nice one)
Unfortunately my old local team Watford lost 2-1

Pretty poo really although there is light in the distance somewhere!!!

I'm a Spurs fan and we were poor against Bolton.
The guys did look like the will improve though and some of the new boys seemed to suggest good things once they settle in.

Living in Reading though means that I'm a temporary Royals fan!!!

    Come on you Royals!!

Wrexham beat much hated enemies Chester City today 2-1 at Chester's own sad excuse for a ground :)

A player from each side was sent off in the heated encounter - marvellous!

    We're now 6th in League 2.
