    The Hepworth (Persimmon Homes) Band

    An evening of popular classics.

St Pauls Hall, Queensgate, Huddersfield. Saturday 29th January, 2005 at 7.30pm

The programme has been developed in the style and form of an orchestral concert, at its heart will be ‘Copeland’s ‘Fanfare for the Common Man', Hamish McCunn's descriptive overture ‘The Land of the Mountain and the Flood’, Rimsky Korsakov’s ‘Capriccio Espasgnol’ Elgar’s ‘Wand of Youth Suite’ and Wagner’s music from the opera ‘Rienzi’.

The concert also provides an opportunity to showcase the talents of two of the bands award-winning soloists Robert Westacott and Brenden Wheeler who will be performing Philip Sparkes Cornet Concerto and Gregsons Symphonic Rhapsody for Euphonium.

Tickets for the concert cost £5, (£4 for concessions) and are available from the Kirklees Information Office in Huddersfield, William Sykes & Sons Estate Agents in Holmfirth and from the Band Manager Steve Hopwood 01484 667213.
