Hi does anyone know where I can get a recording of Music For a Festival (Philip Sparke) mine's damaged and it's one of my all time favourite test pieces?

BNFL Band (Richard Evans) recorded it in 1996 on the album The Music of Philip Sparke Vol. 1

Thanks for the reply, I know about this CD but it seems to be out of production, any other ideas?

I don't know of any recordings, but it is available to stream through Spotify if you just want to listen to it. I had the same problem trying to find a recording a couple of months ago as Music for a Festival was the section C test-piece at the Durham Association Grading Contest.

    Hope this helps,

Brass Band Midden Brabant recorded "Music For A Festival" in 1992 on the DE HASKE label : DHM 3012-3

If you want a Wind Band version of it The Western Band Of The Royal Air Force recorded it in 1990 on the POLYPHONIC label : QPRM 115D.
