  1. Hello.

I must confess that I am a loiterer that has finally taken the plunge and come out of my suitcase.

I'm not a brass musician, but I have an interest in banding.

Hope to enjoy my time here!

Allo Mi AS - nice name

I prefer a nice leopard skin shoulder bag to a suitcase, but theres room for all baggages on this big forum. And don't worry, there are loads more people on here that are'nt brass musicians :D

Welcome sir - as some of my esteemed fellow tMp'ers (as well as Mr B) have already said, we are on the whole a friendly bunch if a bit off the wall at times........just one wee word of warning - watch out for the Scotchgirl woman:wink::biggrin:?...............

Why don't you join a band? There are many bands around that are happy to take all ages and all standards - you can join a band and learn from scratch. :)

    Yes.
Tip 1 Please don`t wear socks with your sandals.
Tip 2 When touring Yarkshire do not offend the yokel local by asking for a poncey cup of Earl Grey.
Tip 3 When in the South of Bonny England do not wear a kilt. (unless cornish tartan).
Hint - Never ever lend anything to the resident queen of innuendo on TMP. He will stretch it and laugh.
Hint 2 - don`t go on the censorship thread without a hard hat and certainly not a sense
    of humour.

Hello. I am Messie. Nice to have fresh blood...

For once I disagree with Mezzy..... if you want to wear a Kilt and you have appropriately sturdy legs to carry it off, I say go for it! But she's right, don't lend it to Butler, it'll come back all covered in glitter and sequins with a marabou trim. ;)

Greetings from dreich but beautiful Edinburgh! :guiness

  21. Thank you all, again, from the bottom of my suitcase.

I'm not a kilt wearer, it has to be said, though, I daresay, from the comments here that Steve Butler has worn enough skirts to make up for my lack? :p

I don't want people getting the wrong impression about me!
Its not all about skirts, there are all sorts of other - sleek, shiny, smooth, figure hugging items (+ a few battery operated extras) that would all fit rather snugly in your suitcase. The sousaphone will probably have to stay at home I fear.
