Just to say a hello from me as I'm new in here. :D
As you can guess I'm a trombone player who loves the instrument!
I came back to playing after a gap of 33 years believe it or not. I used to play trumpet/cornet locally. I guess I picked up the wrong instrument to start with 33 years ago, because now I've got a hold of a trombone, I can't put the thing down!!
I have a whizz of a teacher who knows the brass world inside out.
Well, just wanted to introduce myself.
I wonder if there are any other trombone players out there who are in love with theirs too?
    Cheers,
    Bonelover.

Many thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
I'm panicing at present as I've put my name down to play at the Yorkshire Playday held by the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday..:-?
We get a day to practise then hold a concert in the evening where we've got to play!!
Applications are for Grade 5 and above players.
Please God, let my sight reading be ok on the day..
    Regards,
