Hebden Bridge March & Hymn Contest 2013

  1. he contest was again blessed with a fine day as ten bands competed for over £1000 in prizes in St Georges Square in Hebden Bridge. There were many highlights in a wonderful afternoon, enjoyed by a large crowd of tourists and band supporters alike.


    The biggest cheer of the day was prompted by the performance of the march "Circus Parade" by Wardle Blast. The performance by this group of very enthusiastic children including great playing, funny moments (well done trombones !!) and even singing!!! The audience just loved it and the children looked like they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

    The prizes were presented by the current Lord Mayor of Hebden Royd, Councillor Carl Boggis. The adjudicator was Alan Hobbins. The band would like to thank all the sponsors who made the event possible.
