Haydn creation....do I need a book?

    Just been booked to play 2nd tpt in Haydn creatisn tomorrow. Guess I need a book?

    Yeah... some playing stuff some tacetty bits. My reliable source says they'd better have a good bass trombonist though......;)

    1 alto

    2 small bore tenor

    Bass- large bore B/F...

    and as mentioned will have their work cut out!!

    I did that about 10 years ago.....you definitely need a book (maybe 2!!)

    I did it about 7 or 8 years ago. One of the hardest pieces I've ever played! :eek:
    If I'd known what I was letting myself in for, I don't think that I would have done it!

    Glad I did take a book! The pictures show how exciting the trumpet parts were..... See what you all meant about the trom parts too!

    Memory serves there is one movement that you can play "Sir Duke" over and it fits perfectly

    (yes, we were bored in a rehearsal, lol - it was the bass trombone that started it)
