came 13th overall on Tameside. We played at all 11 contests, even if we left one of the tribe behind at one stage.

Altogether now.... da da da da daaaa daaaa da da da da daaaaaa

Brilliant, I haven't had such fun with a skirt on for... well... ever! Does anyone know the individual results?

What exactly does deportment mean, I just spotted we got a prize for it somewhere or other, it probably wasn't the the venue where James took the kind offer of a beer from a local just before bringing the beat down!

In the order we played them

    Denton - 20th
    Dukinfield - 9th
Stalybridge - 11th (and we thought it was ****)
    Stalybridge Celtic - 23rd
    Droylsden - 9th
    Hurst - 28th
    Heyrod - 17th
    Micklehurst - 6th
    Upper Mossley - 10th
    Carrbrook - 27th
    Broadoak - 26th

We won the deportment prize at Droylsden. I think we might have won something at Hurst Village as well.

By the way, only 5 bands did all 11 contests!

So let me get this right. A bunch of fella's walking round Tameside with coconuts strapped to their chests, yes?

It was a very hot and sunny day. Tell me, are you all sporting white "bra marks" across your chests? Could be an interesting sight. ;)
