Hardest test piece you have played and or heard

    Don't know if this has already been a thread, but can we list the most difficult test pieces you have either played or heard. In my case it would be music of the spheres and breathe of souls. Neither I have played but am amazed at the music. How extreme (Difficult for mortals) championship pieces are becoming. Would love to hear other ideas.

    I seem to recall people mentioning how hard St Magnus was. I had a look at it in the red hymn books. Didn't look that bad.

    Had Masquerade on the CD player last night. They're can't be many harder pieces than that (especially if you don't drop the back row from the cornet fanfare and only use one euph for the cadenza).
