The Gresley Old Hall made are set to make a new CD later this year. This will be the bands 2nd CD that they have done, the first one was in the mid -early 90's with Alan tyler, but this CD will be a bit special. It will be 150 years since the Gresley Old Hall Band have been formed, and will be a double CD as well: one disc will be the Gresley Old Hall Senior Band and the other will feature the Gresley Old Hall Junior Band. The Gresley Juniors have been formed 2 years and most of them could not read or play a note of music, but with the hard work and a lot of effort by some of the senior band members they are doing very well with conductor Fay Bayliss who also plays Bass Trombone in Senior Band. The Gresley Old Hall Band will be conducted by their ever popular conductor David Hutchinson on the CD. Gresley Old Hall have a full engagement list lined up for 2005 and also the Juniors will be making their first outing by themselves as well, they have already appeared in Concerts with the Senior Band during the Concert Season such as :Gresley Old Hall Annual Concert, Burton-On -Trent Town Hall and Blackfordby Village Hall for the annual Christmas Concert. Thanking You. Ian Perks, Gresley Old Hall Band, Publicity Officer.
