Did you know that on your doorstep, one of Yorkshire’s oldest and greatest bands rehearses every week, performing in contests and concerts locally and nationally?

If you play a brass instrument or would even like to start learning, why not come along on a Tuesday night to the newly formed Grange Moor Concert Brass?

Conducted by Clive Jowett, formerly of Slaithwaite, Linthwaite, Yorkshire Imps, Lindley and Hepworth bands, the band is made up of all abilities and ages ranging from 8 to 80!! We are great fun and if needed can provide certain instruments on loan.

Rehearsals are from 7.30-9pm, every Tuesday in the Grange Moor Band room on Liley Lane (opposite the village green). If you are interested just turn up on a Tuesday or ring Warren on 07704554841.

For more information see our website

For the more experienced player looking for a challenge, Grange Moor Brass Band rehearses on a Wednesday 8-10pm and Sunday 7-9pm, conducted by Michael Howley (Brighouse and Rastrick), for more information phone Paul (band manager) on 0771984386
