One of my favourite contests of the year for atmosphere. An added intrigue comes from the split draw, slight advantage to the second half bands. Anyone care to have a stab at a winner?

So Woodfalls, Tong, Reg Vardy, Whitburn and Wingates in the bottom 6?

Yes, that said, there are a couple of bands without conductors. If someone awesome, or a genius conducts them, then I might re-evaluate my predictions.

Does anybody know if there was an official recording partner who was recording the performances for the Grand Shield?

There are never any (official) recordings done at the Spring Festival
