Too easy. Should have been an 'apostrophe' game.

Same as me. One depends on personal preference. Some think the Oxford comma (before an and) is perfectly acceptable, while others abhor it. I sit on the fence. In my opinion it depends very much upon the sentence.

I think commas before words like "and" look strange...(most of the time)

  11. I'm sorry but this is totally pathetic, how do you discover such rubbish??? they can't even spell 'tyre' for god's sake!! It's a bleeding 'Y' not an 'I'.

I won't reveal personal details in public. Send me a private message if you would like to know.
You were obviously mocking me in your post. It's not funny, nor is it clever.

FYI, the website is intended as a tie-in to the popular adult book Eats, Shoots and Leaves. Perhaps you'd like to argue with Lynne Truss, the author of the work?

I'd advise you to change your tune and stop being so abrasive. Merry Christmas and bah humbug. :icon_rolleyes:

I thought you revealed your age on another thread......

There's also no apostrophe in "olds"

  20. FYI, why would you even be looking in depth into adult books, suggesting you are young. Which also suggests having an attitude like that towards older people will get you nowhere young man. Anyway, get your head out of the books and computer and get out there and find people to have a life with. Bah humbug.

"MrsDoyle" how old are you? I agree with dropped-for-rehearsels that that game is a pile of coswollop. It is abit sad going on the game, never mind actually creating a thread on it! Come on act your age!

  22. Here here, and by the looks of it, the smart comments don't end on this, what's all this correcting spelling business. Get over it!!! This site hasn't given me very good first impressions here :(
