Could someone please reassure me that the trombone player that has just performed in this show is NOT associated with the brass band movement.

I hope not, check the dancing, (Did you notice it said he used that routine as a pro stripper?)

but the beat box guy was absolutely brilliant

who did you think should have won? the Skating Aratas?

Very poor selection of acts this week, but at least the dog has gone

The trombone was just used as a gimmick, although it did sound as if he could actually play it if he needed to. Most of the acts were just pretty routine circus or cabaret turns, and I can't see why any of them were termed as "original"

I suppose the beat box man would have some limited appeal, but i thought it very unprofessional to slip in the "Delilah" reference, and if I'd been voting that would have been him out straight away.

"When will I be famous?" ....

I think is a bit harsh of the BBC to title their new talent show with a rhetorical question.

    ;)

I tried to watch the first week it was on what a load of rubbish!!!!. The BBC seem to be obssessed with finding T.V. programmes for Graham Norton. Unfortunatly this one is just too awful!!!!

I wish he stayed with C4- the first series of So Graham Norton was amazing TV. I learnt so much, not least how to make "things" with napkins... and Jordans classic line of "wow. You must have a bucket..."

(sorry if im borderlining on the rules of what can be posted. ive tried to be good, please edit if u feel it necessary :))

I agree with you that the first series was good as it was novel and of a slightly different format to what else was offered at the time. The Norton Novelty has worn off now and he just seems exhausted of new ideas.

Now they use him because he can get away with ssaying certain things that other celebtrities would be hung for

    Libera

I was really surprised to see Libera on this prog. They're famous already, surely? Also surprised that the judges said they needed a Single to become more widely known. Probably true once, but not any more, I think.
