Follow the link below to reveal a personal essay by Tessa Jowell in which she examines the relationship between Government and the cultural sector. It sets out a case for continued public subsidy for the arts and urges government to view culture as at the heart, not the periphery of its policies. It would appear that they are interested in hearing views and comments; an e:mail address is provided. This is yet another opportunity for the Brass Band World to get its head out of the sand, and identify its self; by making known, that the banding world has been trying to do this sort of thing for years. :? :x
