good pieces

  1. Played two very good pieces at summer school. 1. Where Eagles Sing 2. Horizons :clap:
    Both written by Paul Lovat-Cooper. Look out for them. Fantastic melody lines, percussion parts (of course) and you can easily see images as you listen to them.

    Probably for 1st/top section, others may disagree.

    When I saw the title of your thread Where Eagles Sing came straight into mind. Which summer school did you go to?
  3. Summer School organised by Philip Biggs. This year in Uppingham 12th-18th Aug, usually at Bromsgrove. Used to be at Oxford Brookes. Hope this helps.

    Yeah, it's just that me and Mark were both at the International Brass Band Summer School run by Alison Childs and we had Where Eagles Sing as well!

    It seems that Where Eagles Sing is appearing in every band library.
