    Don't you just hate adware/spyware?

    I regularly delete it, but one I can't seem to get rid of is mxtarget.dll.

    Any techie types out there that know how to?

    You don't tell us what OS you are running, but if it's XP, you could try the following:

    Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services

    Look for services that could be associated with spyware programs. If you're unsure check with a google search first. Right click and select properties then disable any that look suspicious or are not needed.

    This trick will also speed up the computer a little if you disable unecessary services that you don't use. Check out Tweak XP.

    Look at the Startup tab and uncheck anything that looks suspicious. You'll also notice that the last column shows a registry entry, you may want to run regedit (Start->Run->regedit) and remove the entry directly from the registry and use the Find function to locate and delete any related entries.

    You could also use the regedit utility to locate and delete any references to mxtarget.dll

    Try searching for the Run, RunOnce and RunOnceEx folders and deleting any suspicious looking keys.

    Good anti-spyware programs to use are Ad-Aware and SpyBot.

    Cheers, Greg.
