The 2012 Gloucestershire Brass Band Association Entertainment Contest will be held on Sunday 5th February at the Larruperz Centre, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire (5 mins from the bottom of the M50).

The contest will be divided into two sections - Section A an open contest for all nationally graded bands and Section B for Youth, Training and Un-registered bands.

Nationally graded bands can play all their registered players - i.e. over 25 brass - if they want to give less experienced players a contest opportunity.

Our adjudicator for the day will be Mr Philip Harper and the compere will be Mr David Hayward. The adjudication will be open.

Entries will be accepted from both members and non-members of the GBBA on the first received basis.

Full details can be found on the GBBA website -

Entry forms and rules can also be downloaded from the website or by sending a PM to me.

Just a quick reminder for contest secretaries that the closing date for the GBBA Entertainment Contest is the 31st of December before everyone breaks up for the Xmas holidays.
